Hello-
My name is Deb Jensen and I teach 8th grade Language Arts, Advanced Language Arts, and Inquiry Literature here at Windsor Middle School. Although my family roots began in Pennsylvania, I was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Secondary English/ Language Arts. Since then, I have taught 7th-12th Literature and Composition, Speech Communication, Literacy/ Reading, Creative Writing, Poetry, and Debate. The Inquiry Literature classes include Debate, Film Studies, Reader's Theatre, and a variety of genre-focused studies specifically selected by the students to name a few. My husband and I have lived in Fort Collins for 30 years where we have raised our son and two daughters (Eric, Heather, and Stephanie) who are now raising our three grandsons and new baby granddaughter:). I enjoy reading, time with family & friends, travel, music, boating/ kayaking, camping,
hiking and backpacking. In the classroom, we work together to promote positive communities through interpersonal relationships where we value humor, flexibility, honesty, diligence, and creativity.
I consider it a privilege to support the communication growth of students here at Windsor Middle School and I look forward to yet another great Language Arts year!
Sincerely-
Deb Jensen:)
